A young father carries his son into the very basic operation room where Dr. Hung is waiting to perform the surgery. Duniya Foundation is financially supporting these operations, organized by Dong An from the Hanoi based NGO Center II, Direct Support for Disabled Children. As a photographer and member of Duniya Foundation, I spent many hours with this great team and I hope my images will soon illustrate the important work these people do in extreme difficult circumstances. I am working on a multimedia documentary, for which I travelled several times with this mobile medical team to remote areas in the mountains from northwest Vietnam. Stay tuned!
