Dutch! Tulips!

I have lived very close to tulip fields all my life. First in Noord Holland and now in Friesland. Never ever did I photograph those fields (neither visited the world famous Keukenhof), although I enjoy the colourful fields when I pass them by car or on my cycle. That changed the day before yesterday, when the weather was just perfect for ‘typical Dutch photos’: not too sunny, big clouds in all forms and shapes, wind, changing light and of course all those tulip fields so close to our house. Interested to see the result? Here is a real Dutch Tulip Gallery. And to end the day in style, we ate fish in Urk, watching the IJsselmeer, a huge lake. It felt like a half-day holiday and it was paid work!
