iPhone tools for photographers
For ‘real’ photography, I of course prefer my Nikon D3s. But I have to admit that my iphone’s camera function is handy at times. It can help you become creative at moments you don’t have the heavy Nikon anywhere near, like that day travelling from Delhi to Ajmer in India, by the comfortable Shatabdi Express train. Enough space to sit, breakfast served, a snack (two toffees and Maria biscuits!), a newspaper … for me it’s the perfect way to relax after often hectic days. And no, I don’t carry Nikon to the bathroom.
There are many applications for an iphone, which can be very useful for a travelling photographer. I will list them below and hopefully, the list will grow. Please drop a line if you know more, so we will have a useful collection soon. Most – but not all – are free.
