I (also) work for World Portraits, a unique collection of photographs of people from all over the world. The collection contains almost 8,000 images of 5,000 ‘models’ from 34 countries. What makes World Portraits unique is that the subjects share in the profits. Each time a photo is sold, the person pictured receives a commission on the copyright. The images are available through Hollandse Hoogte. See a selection of 30 portraits below.
Recently, I won a photo-contest related to World Portraits with a portfolio and an idea for a ‘fair’ photo production in India. From now on, I will regularly write a blog about the preparation of this production, the equipment I will be working with, the pre- and post production and – of course! – images and stories from India itself, where the production will take place.
Here is a selection of portraits I shot earlier for World Portrais in Rajasthan (India). By clicking the image, you enlarge them. Clicking your mouse on the arrow (right and left), you can scroll my photos.
