Sentimental Journal issue 10 is out! The theme is 'Festivity' and the whole magazine is so festive! So colorful! So full of inspiration. Every time a new magazine comes out I think I have my favorite issue, and every time I am outdone. It is a great pleasure to contribute to this beautiful product.

People who know me know that I am anything but trend-sensitive and our own house is a mix of a lot of influences, something that we feel comfortable with and actually reflects who we are very well. But of course I have studied Wabi-sabi and 'Japandi' and I like the tranquility that this style radiates.

Behind the scenes, I'm working updating my photo archive. Collections will be added all the time. So please bear with me, it will all become much more organized soon.

While adult kestrels are majestic hunters, it is equally intriguing to explore the growth and development of young kestrels as they transition from hatchlings to skilled hunters. I was very lucky to be around with my camera when the young kestrels left the nest. I spent an entire afternoon hiding under the goat hutch on legs, enjoying the first independent flights, their languorous gaze upwards in search of the parents, clumsy movements on fence posts and in trees.

When I returned to the Indian city of Varanasi more than a year later, you laughed loudly at the crazy child you now saw in the photo. Free, cheerful, uninhibited. That disappeared six years later. You were willing to pose to please me, but were ashamed of your younger self.

I'm designing a website for a client in the French Morvan. She is a Dutch goldsmith who lives and works from the beautiful Burgundy and also organizes workshops near a natural water source. And rents out a rustic gîte for anyone looking for peace, quiet and space.

Passend bij haar bestaande huisstijl (die ik een paar jaar geleden vorm gaf) heb ik een nieuw logo gemaakt,: eenvoudig met een wat sterker lettertype dan de vorige versie.

Sentimental Journal Magazine #8 is out! The theme of this issue is 'fauna' and I can't wait to see how beautifully this theme has been developed by a variety of authors, photographers and artists. The preview looks very promising.
