Refund policy

Photography

In the case of camera failure, inclement weather, or any unforeseen incident that prevents Mirjam Letsch | Studio Letsch & de Clercq from shooting on a scheduled date, the client will get a full refund of the deposit when applicable. No refund will be given under any circumstances if you fail to attend the activity on the day and at the time listed when the booking was made.

Photo prints

Unfortunately we cannot offer a refund on custom prints as they are made to order. As such, the right to cancellation under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations does not apply.

Any order which has been damaged prior to delivery, where you have informed us within 24 hours of the delivery attempt, will be replaced by us free of charge with a duplicate copy of the same print as ordered.

All orders that are delivered and confirmed as undamaged, or where we have not been informed of any courier damage within 24 hours of delivery, are deemed to have been accepted by you in good condition and will no longer be replaced by us for free on return of the damaged item for disposal.

Any damage caused after successful delivery is the responsibility of the customer, and any replacements will be provided subject to payment of the current print price on the website.

Damage caused during self-organised framing or mounting is the responsibility of the customer, and no refund for prints that have been spoiled in this way.

Digital products

It’s not possible to claim a refund for a digital product (such as a template or e-book) for the simple reason that these products are downloadable and cannot be returned to me as the designer / seller.

Other products

  • When purchasing products on the Website, the Customer has a 14-day withdrawal period. This means that if the customer decides within 14 days to return their purchase, Mirjam Letsch | Studio Letsch & de Clercq will refund the purchase price. Please note that Mirjam Letsch | Studio Letsch & de Clercq will not refund the delivery costs.

  • If the Customer uses their right of return, the Customer is responsible for the condition of the product after the Customer has received the product and during the return shipping. The product shall be returned within 14 days from the date when Mirjam Letsch | Studio Letsch & de Clercq was notified. The product shall be sent in its original condition, well packaged, preferably in the original package. The Customer shall register their return via email to info@mirjamletsch.com. The Customer shall provide their name, address and other relevant information, e.g. order reference, invoice number and the name of the product in the message. After registration the Customer will receive an email containing instructions and address details for sending back the package.

  • The Customer is responsible for the transport risk and shipping cost for the return. Please note that the return must be sent as a traceable shipment.

  • As soon as the return reaches Mirjam Letsch | Studio Letsch & de Clercq, and has been processed, Mirjam Letsch | Studio Letsch & de Clercq will make a refund to the customer.

  • If the Customer want to do an exchange of the product(s), it is processed as a return, i.e, the customer sends the product(s) back to Mirjam Letsch | Studio Letsch & de Clercq, and can then make a new order.

  • Mirjam Letsch | Studio Letsch & de Clercq can not offer the right of return or exchange of custom/special made orders.
