A golden farewell whispered

Today was an enchanted autumn day in our garden. I didn't do anything but simply exist, watching, breathing in the quiet magic that unfolded before my eyes. I wandered slowly, letting time slip away as I marveled at each and every little detail. The soft light of the season danced over the landscape, casting a gentle glow on the shifting hues. Autumn has undeniably arrived, weaving its way into every corner.

Some flowers, steadfast and proud, still bloom as if holding onto the last remnants of summer's warmth. Others, their petals fading, bow gracefully, surrendering to the change. Yet, there is no sorrow in this slow fading; only beauty, only the richness of colors more vibrant than ever, as though nature has saved its most glorious palette for these final moments.

Leaves fluttered down like confetti, a golden farewell whispered on the wind. The reds, oranges, and yellows of the trees mixed with the deep purples and rusting browns of the earth. Everything was alive in a new, quiet way—celebrating the cycle of life, even as it prepared to rest.

I stood there, still and awed, as my garden wrapped me in its embrace, reminding me of the wonder that exists in every small thing, if only I take the time to see.

No matter how much I tried to capture it all 'with my eyes only today,' to simply let the beauty wash over me without technical interruption, I just had to take out my real camera—it was irresistible. Isn’t 'free work' the best there is? When the only thing driving you is pure delight, no agenda, just the urge to preserve the fleeting magic of a chard fairy forest, flowers, harvest and to share the wonder of it all?
